| KC has a consistent, CDE/CAS-minded curriculum in all areas. There is a consistent math, science, and social studies curriculum. And the secondary ELA was crafted with CAS in mind and the Wonders program in K-5 is strong. PreK using Teaching Strategies Gold is a quality curriculum, too. | KC could benefit from evaluating curriculum at key transition points (5th to 6th; 8th to 9th). KC could also benefit from a more unified writing curriculum, K-5. |
| Teachers and students are both engaged with teaching and learning. Students are participating in activities.
